[alfa] Autoitalia @ Portofino
Hi Guys:
Who's responsible for the Portofino fiasco? My wife and I just spent 5+
hours in the '87 Spider to see a meager handful of other late-model
daily-driver Spiders and 2 vintage Ferrari's (365 GT 2+2, and a 275
GTS). What happened, weather too nice, no advertising? I have to say, I'm
disappointed, and also quite pissed. The event was hardly as described on
the Alfa Romeo Club of Central Florida website (500 cars, 20,000
spectators, one of the premier automobile shows in the Southeast United
States). Hyperbole, anyone? The only positive about the event was that
the parking attendant comp'ed us the $8 fee because we were only there 10
minutes. OK, we did also get to spend the day in one of our Spider's, but
we can do that anytime, and without the I-4 traffic and risk of death. So
again, who's responsible? Someone's head needs to roll for this.
