Digesters,
was driving Guiliana (beloved '87 Milano) down the
road the other day and started hearing strange noises
coming from under the hood. Sounded like I had run
over and was dragging something. A few seconds later,
a bang and whatever it was went flying down the road
behind me. Got home, popped the hood, looked down...
where is the tensioner pulley for the a/c belt? The
shaft is there, but no pulley! Apparently it seized
up and decided to go on a little trip. Ah, the joys
of an Alfa. Does anybody have a parts car out there
with an A/c belt tensioner pulley assembly that they
could unbolt and sell to someone who needed it? If
so, please drop me a line off digest. It gets real
hot here in Louisiana during the summer!
