[alfa] Steering Column Cover - 77 Spider

Thanks to all who helped me with the removal of tail light lenses - the
gaskets were disintigrated and the lenses were pretty well stuck on. All bulbs
are now replaced, corrosion removed, and working fine. However, I suspect a
faulty turn signal switch (since the left signal does not come on, although
all lights flash as they should with the hazzards on). My question is about
removing the steering column cover. I see the holes on the underside and would
suspect phillips screws. I am unable to get my phillips drivers to seat - and
I have tried a blade screwdiver as well. Are there screws in there? I have
been reluctant to try to snap it apart, suspecting that there are some type of
screws holding the two halves together. Any help is, once again, appreciated.
