This is the part I like. A used 1996 - 200x GTV could be imported to Mexico 
and then driven across the border as a tourist vehicle. Keep it registered
in 
TJ or someplace close to your border, and drive it in the US. Just go back
across the border once a year (or what ever the regulations require). Still
trying to figure out the insurance part...

Or ship a 155 over and swap plates and VIN numbers with a late Milano
that has been striped or junked and call it a Milano SE or something. 

Sud Sprint with Alfetta plates? There are no doubt others...
