FWIW, I just did this, and what I got back was a very nice note on Alfa
letterhead that provided the build date, exterior color, and interior color
and materials. Nothing was provided on where it was sold or to whom.

If you email elvira.ruocco@domain.elided with the VIN of the car,
she will
respond with all the details they have on the car as manufactured,
where it
was sold and the name of the first owner.
