[alfa] Re: alfa-digest V9 #1094

At various times. the "Old Man" drove many things to work. In the late fifties through the sixties, he had a silver various Lancias. At one point he had a metallic lime-green Fiat 131 and that's what one sees him in through most of the 80's. So it's entirely possible that at one time he drove an Alfa 33 at some point. He had, of course, at his disposal, various models of his own car, and in the late sixties had a 330 GTC without faired-in, covered headlights built to his specifications, and again in a rather peculiar metallic lime-green color. He drove it for several years (but not, ostensibly, to work - the man was not at all extravagant but rather, very practical and frugal) before selling it. The last time i saw the car was at Petersen's Automotive Museum in L.A. in the late '90's

Darryl,

I don't have access to the BBC series, but are you saying that old Enzo
drove a front drive 33 to work each day ???
