Two things, Our New Hampshire Travel book showed up in the mail Friday, 
Fast Service, A big (well two full pages 10"x15") map (of a small state 
a little bigger than the size of the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex (if you 
extend it northward to the Texas Border)).  And regional snapshots and 
maps, breakdowns of Towns and cities in each region, and lots of ads for 
lodging.

Also today's online New York times "The Frugal Taveler" column has an 
article "Changing Coasts, on a solo drive" that may get you in the 
spirit for a road trip. New York Times online allows free registration 
if you're not already an online subscriber.
