[alfa] GT4 not GTV4?, Spider tow bar

Ron:

I've in the last couple of years come to the conclusion that a good (For me Automatic) Milano or GTV6 would be a great place for a timing chained 4cyl DOHC Alfa engine. One of those newer twin sparks people were importing or Alfetta hardware. In Texas at least there seems to be much less sign of rust than the Alfettas. The Milanos and GTV6 are relatively lightweight and handle great and the balance should be good. And the timing chain vs the timing belt . . .
Best Wishes,
Bernie Bennett
Brenham, TX

PS: As Far as your subject goes, unless you put a SAAB V4 cyl in it, it will be a GT - 4 bjb

Hi guys. I ran across a clean GTV6 shell and was wondering if it would
be possible to drop in 4 cyl parts from an Alfetta, since I have some of
that stuff laying about. Anybody here BTDT?
Also, anybody have a tow bar for a 74 Spider they'd lend me? A buddy
needs to get it from L.I. up to Lime Rock, CT. Offers of a cheap tow
wouldn't be refused either! TIA, Ron.
