They'd be doing you and me a favor, but not themselves.  Big is where
the profits are, people don't pay big money for small cars.

Ah, but they *are* giving what the consumer wants.  If people weren't
buying the damn things, they wouldn't be producing them!  Ford sells
more Excursions in a week than Alfa sold here in a year, you think
they'd be better off dumping the big profitable vehicles and selling
Alfas?
