[alfa] Re: alfa-digest V9 #950

Digesti,

I suggested the Wolf Steel site to Beadle in response to his rocker
panel/sill query, and got a message from another digesti with a link to a
discussion of poor quality of Wolf Steel panels. This was apparently some
time ago, and their current website indicates a good understanding of Alfa
rockers. Does anyone have recent experience with Wolf Steel?

Regarding body shops willing to work to a price level; my '76 Spider will be
going to Auto Body Specialists, Columbus Ohio, after Thanksgiving for paint,
rust repair and rocker reconstruction. I know these people from autocross
competition, and they will establish specifications and cost for the level
of finish I am looking for. I plan to strip the rusty outer rocker skins to
determine what parts will be needed, and am intrigued with the additional
reinforcement offered by Wolfe since I want maximum stiffness but am
prohibited by rules from using the Eriminus chassis stiffener.
