Seems as though the pin which holds the rocker piece which in turn moves
the control unit input lever closer to the reference screw (as engine

Cleaned thoroughly with carb cleaner and hammered in, but not quite all
the way. Put a good dollop of JB-Weld all around pin, and finished
hammering in.

Installed 'adjusted' dummy actuator and adjusted gap to 19 thou. and
installed long and short rods.

Care to comment? Anyone? Any one at all?
JB Weld is great stuff. There was a recent post about cam bearing studs that had stripped requesting a repair suggestion. While heli coil is the best answer, I've repaired same problem by gluing stud in with JB Weld. Also use JB weld to fill pitting in brake/clutch master and slave cylinders, and around the machined joint where the block and piston liner seal, as well as cylinder heads with pitting in critical areas around the head gasket between the cylinders. When cured JB is easily machined and honed. Enough?
