[alfa] Berlina for sale (again)
Well I went and saw the Berlina. Located in Yucaipa, Southern California.
It's sitting in the parking lot of a "European Auto" shop.
The owner says it comes with a lot of extra parts (I could see 2 boxes
containing rear lights, a 2 L air box, Quadra-flows, etc) and includes an
extra rear end (differential).
It's a '71 1750, according to the owner. The paint is a faded light blue
with a fair amount of rust in rockers and around windows, etc. Makes for a
nice project. The interior looked pretty decent and the engine bay was full
of spider (the arachnid type) webs, but the owner said the engine runs. When
he told me the price I didn't want to stay there any longer: $ 2,500. I said
I know a few people that always look for a Berlina. He said, if you get a
buyer, I'll give you $ 500.
So I need a volunteer to buy the car for 2500 so I can get my 500.
Seriously, if you want to bargain the price down (I wouldn't pay more than
800-1200), call Bruce at (909) 794-5506.
Don't e-mail me.
