[alfa] Re: Wheel Paint Oddities

Regarding the possibility of multiple paint colors on Alfa Berlina wheels, the stock steel wheels on my 76 Fetta Gt (which I know have never been tampered with) have different colors on the front and back of the wheel.  The face of the wheel is the usual dark silver, but the entire backside of the wheel is a flat light grey color.  Is it possible that Alfa only "finish" coated the part of the wheel that people would see?
