Hi Dave:

The older gauges in a Spider can be set to any reading, by just gently 
nudging the number wheels in the desired direction with a tiny 
screwdriver.  I'll bet your GTV gauges are similar, although one difference 
would be removing the lens, which I haven't done on a GTV speedo.
