It's a hot car and a desirable one, no doubt about it, BUT Where would  
you ever get it fixed when it broke? What about Parts?
Orphans are rarely good deals when all of the parts, no matter how  
trivial, have to be ordered from overseas. I'd also be willing to bet  
that it won't pass CA emissions either. But if I were really interested  
in this car, I'd first contact Chris Obert in Santa Cruz, CA (largest  
importer of Fiat and Lancia parts in the U.S.) and find out what's  
available for it and how easy or difficult it will be to get things.
