[alfa] trailer brakes

Hi:

Looking for a trailer to haul our cars here and there -- GTV6, Milano and
ERA Cobra (plus -- you never know) -- and am trying to figure out whether
free-backing surge brakes or electric brakes are the way to go. So far, only
the more expensive trailers seem to have surge brakes. Does anyone have any
experience or pro-con know-how?
