re: [alfa] GTV-6 Steering Damper

vern, dunno if this will help yer situation, (or even if a new steering damper will cure yer ailments), but an alfetta steering rack (w/no damper) is a bolt-in replacement.  still awailable in the usa.  no noticable ill effects on my '86, & i run fat 225-50-15's...  as far as the graoning noise, this could come from bad bushings, metal fatigue at the top of the strut attachment point, or???

This is a small Boge part, but none of the old parts fiches lists a crossover
