[alfa] Clutch Bleeding '89 Spider
Posted yesterday and got a couple responses, but my problem persists. I have reassembled my spider and am trying to bleed the clutch. However, I can only get about 8mm of travel on the slave cylinder. Have now manually pumped about a quart of fluid thru the system.
Clutch pedal seems to be somewhat low near the floor, but I have never actually driven this car more than a quarter mile and don't really know where the pedal should be in relation to the brake.
There seems to be some fluid coming from a pinhole in the dust boot, but I'm not sure if this is just run-off from the bleeder.
Any advice is very welcome at this point.
However, the engine runs now. I want to thank everyone again for the help they have given me.
That four cylinder has the most beautiful sound of any engine I've ever heard.
