Tom, don't do it PLEASE.  Go buy a later model with plastic bumpers rather
than spoil the purity of the original design.  Maybe the metal bumpers on US
cars are heavier, but my Australian delivered '79GTV looked great with the
stainless bumpers and I cant recall them weighing much at all.
