[alfa] Re: Alfetta instrument placement
In v9n814, the esteemed Mr. Herztman, one of several contributing to this
topic, writes:

While not strictly a separated placement, the 750/101 (Giulietta & Giulia)
spiders have an instrument layout consisting of three circular instruments
clustered in the shape of a triangle directly in front of the driver.
The center gauge, at the top of the triangle and the most visible through the
steering wheel, contains the tach and the oil pressure gauge. The gauge to
the right, partially obstructed by the wheel, has the speedo, odo, and trip odo.
The gauge to the left, also partially obstructed, has water temp, oil temp,
and fuel. A variety of tell-tale lights are distributed between the two side
instruments.
I see a certain similarity between this layout in Alfa's first successful
post-war, mass-produced model line and the Alfetta GT.
Maybe because I have one of each and am less than impartial about them.
But I still see a similarity.
