[alfa] Spider cooling problem

I had a similar problem as you mention. The temp started going up unexplicably in traffic and hot weather. I found that while servicing the AC I lifted the coolant bottle higher than the radiator cap which let out some coolant and introduced air into the system. I purged the air via the bolt in the intake manifold - it's an 87 with FI I'm not sure what you got in a 77.
