I was up at Redfish Lake Lodge in the Sawtooths this weekend and there was a
group of Morgan enthusiasts with old looking cars (someone there told me you
can still order them new) that look like the old MGs, but a little more
curvaceous and a better grill in my opinion. No offense intended to anyone
who disagrees. In any case, those cars also had the tach dead in front of
the driver, oil pressure, temp etc around a similarly sized round gauge to
the right, and the speedo over in the center or even a little farther right.
So it must not be just an Italian thing as these cars were definitely
British. A nice Bently was also there.
For what it is worth, I agree with Biba and liked my 76 GT's layout for the
chutzpah factor.
Cheers,
Steve
