[alfa] Got another Alfa...

I've purchased a(nother) Alfa, '79 "Spider Veloce"  this time.   As usual, 
it was a bottom feeder find:  sold by relatives of deceased PO; no keys 
(steering locked); not running for ~2 years; leather seats (dry & needing 
rejuvenation) & wool carpet; seemingly new padded canvas top (seems dry) & 
perfect dash; good/straight non-rusty body (California car); 
Turbinas.  Least rusty Alfa I've ever purchased.

I first looked at the car in early July when the owner advertised in local 
paper.  I kept checking and sometime in August called the owner with the 
intent of making a offer, but owner said it was sold and the buyer was 
"getting his money".  When I drove past last Friday, another six weeks 
later, owner was outside.  I stopped, we talked, and he sold it to me for $600.

Teenage son and daughter are overjoyed (think they will be driving it), 
wife is pissed.  I'm wondering where to find the time to get it running.

Finally, in typical Alfa fashion, the grey Berlina tow car ruptured its 
heater core on the way home...
