[alfa] Originality

Doubt if either of these will interest many...what's the general
consensus on the spider veloce (all lower case) badge mounted on the
forward upper crease line, just forward of the doors' leading edge?
Cool? Not cool? One needs it for originality sake? Leave it off? The
awful aftermarket rub strips have been removed.

Must admit I haven't run this by the client yet, so he's the one who
will get to make the final decision. It's a black '79 Spider (Veloce).
While parts are about to go back on the car, it sure does look
wonderfully sinister without a bit of brightwork on the entire car. I
used DuPont's Chroma One urethane Super Jet Black. Doubt if there is a
blacker black in the entire kingdom.

I have an extra (in one line) Alfa Romeo script which appears on the
rear, upper right corner on the '79. I've never liked the square Alfa
Romeo lettering on the '69 Spider (let alone the smaller square
Iniezione badge - round car, square badging??). Thinking about
installing it on the center trailing edge of the 69's trunk lid. Not
sure.

Yeah, I know - do it - then sell or better yet, give you the old badges.
