wiper motor overhaul

Gentle Alfisti,
The wiper assembly having been removed from the 74 GTV yielded a rusted 
motor.  It looks as if it was flooded at one point.  Has anyone had success with 
bringing a wiper motor back from the dead?  The reduction gear has copper spring 
brushes that work to "home" the wipers. Does anyone have a schematic that 
shows these brushes, their configuration and respective lengths?  As a last 
resort, can anyone verify if a spider wiper assembly will swap-out with one from a 
GTV ?  Thanks.
