I'm in the middle of my 164S rebuild. By middle, I mean I've pulled it
and tore it down, but haven't started the actual rebuilding. I'm now
somewhat pressed for time, and I'd love to have the 164 on the road
ASAP. I'm now considering buying a good used motor, rebuilding the
164S motor in my "spare" time and slotting it into the Verde where that
extra power would be driving the proper wheels.
Anyone have a good 3.0L availible, S or otherwise? I'm in PA, closer
the better if I have to pick it up.
I have to admit I'm tempted by this option (it's so pretty):

but seeing the falling prices of 164s... I could probably just buy
another entire car. If only I had the space.
