164 Electrical Problems

Hi,
I had a 92 3.0 164 and did 80K miles to take it to 155K and had no
electrical problems. Bought a 95 3.0 and had a wire rub through under the
dash. That wire connected the keyhole to the immobiliser and resulted in 600
GBP bill and 6 weeks off the road to trace the problem. Also usual eratic
window switches!
