Despite the fact that none of you contacted me, there were a fair few ARs
in Edinburgh: from a roundtail Spider and (2000?) GTV to 147s and a Nuovo
GTV. But I drank your fine ales and whiskies alone, or at least not in the
company of known alfisti; and had to rent a Rover 25 for my day out

Generally higher standard of automobile in Edinburgh than in Ottawa.
SURPRISE! Even marques that are still sold here, like Honda, seem to offer
better models there, in terms of smaller, sportier and faster
