Commuter-VW TDI Jetta Wagon

Early this year I purchased, yep..VW TDI as a wonderful compliment to my
trusted GTV6.

If you are looking for IMHO, the biggest bang for the buck, check this
Teutonic sleeper out.

in auto form; 43+MPG...50+ in 5 sp.

Relatively large storage area and very easy loading in back.  Wonderful
package of creature comforts. Extremely well behaved on the hwy...including
spirited driving.  NO need for ignition/sparking worries.
Excellent reasonable tuning bits offered for those that want performance for
small price.  Many NA drivers are extracting 130+ hp with a simple chip and
Euro nozzles...with no decrease in mileage.
Of course, those of you in CA. may find it difficult to find a new one as of
next year.  The jury is still out.
When you find a fifteen gallon tank will easily take you 600-1000 miles per
tank...depending on whether you drive it like an Alfa or a Camry...  This
vehicle, to me...is such a joy compared to the ricers and the gassers.
Check one out!  You will be amazed.

The perfect hauler/commuter for an alfisti.  If only we could get some of
those Alfa TDI's over here.
