Re: Maserati vs. Alfa

Glenn is right on the Maserati convertible. It is one of the most
attractive and engaging designs and I lust (in my heart) every time I see
one. Somehow, the convertible transform a blah semi-wedge box into
something beautiful. Having owned a second version of the Quattroporte, I
can attest to Maser's parts problem. Unlike the BiTurbo's, the V-8 Q4's
were bulletproof powerplant wise. If Maserati had addressed the failure
prone turbo design, of which there were many dependable alternatives, the
cars might have enjoyed a longer run.
