Tess, how does a single viscosity oil solve your oiling problem??? At track temps - the multi viscosity oil will be running like it is a heavyweight oil. Its only acts like a low viscosity oil when it is cold. There is nothing like empirical evidence - if the local Audi guys say it works i suppose it does, but doesn't make sense.
