What 164s have become

They're trading fodder for small- or big-block Chevy V8s (see craigslist
post below).  I wrote a piece in the latest Berlina Register newsletter on
the topic of Alfas, particularly sedans, falling into beaterdom (see
http://www.berlinaregister.com/BERLET16.htm), but I never envisioned them as
fair trade for Chevy V8s.  Oh well.
Not my car, etc.
