Emissions with carbs
What kind of state actually checks old cars, and does not know that the car
is supposed to have fuel injection???
Whatever...
There are a couple of things you can do...
First, re-jet the car to run more lean at that point. Not knowing Webers
very much, its hard to say which adjustment to make, but I would bet that
you'll find the transition between the idle system and the main
system. Just running lean will be the biggest contributor.
Next up, if you can't run any more lean than you are, start retarding the
spark. That will lower both CO and HC at the same time.
Good luck, it won't be easy...
