skipping/missing in certain rpm range
OK, here's the current problem with my '77 spider - there has been a string
of problems lately.
The car misses/skips between 2000 and 3000 rpm when accelerating even
moderately hard or harder. It's fine above and below that rpm range. It
has a marelliplex ignition from shankle.
This started after I replaced the fuel cutoff solenoid.
It has new wires, new plugs, new distributor cap and rotor. New fuel
filters (both). New ignition control module (from a different problem). I
adjusted the fuel cut off with a procedure I found on the web - hold at
2500 rpm turn it lean until it misses, then rich until it stops increasing
rpms, then back 1/4 turn.
I'm out of things to check. Any ideas?
