Re: Spider Oil

20W-50 valvoline synthetic appears to have stopped my oil
burning/consumption in my spider. Then again, I believe the quick change
place where I got my first oil change back in january put in standard 10w-30
oil. The car also got quieter/smoother/more powerful after I put the new
oil in. I didn't know whether to be scared at what the old oil was
(wasn't?) doing, or overjoyed at how it was now better than before. At the
same time my oil pressure light sender was leaking and I replaced it so that
also had a big effect on consumption. I know the new oil is also helping
because there's no more blue smoke on decel+accel+decel+accel etc now.

I used valvoline because it's the only brand I could find in 20W-50
synthetic.
