Spider shaft radio...

   A few years ago, Kenwood made a shaft-style am/fm cassette deck with preamp outs and CD changer controls (the KRC-3006) - perfect for a Spider.  Unfortunately, they seem to have discontinued it.  You might be able to find someone who still has one, though.

   However, there is a company making shaft-style radios that are basically clones of the same deck - Custom Autosound.

They don't show an application directly for a Spider, but maybe they could make a version with the Alfa script on the cassette door.
