Hi Dick:

I'm not going to be convinced that the edge profile of a piece of copper 
will lead to the demise of an Alfa engine.  But, because I had them, and 
because they're the right size, I used Volvo 850 oil drain plug washers on 
the banjo fitting of my '74 Spider.  The Volvo washers are aluminum, so I'm 
safe for sure.
