RE: noise in power line was: L-Jetronic ECU fragility?

My Shift Reminder Lights worked exactly the same way by picking up the frequencies of the power as it generated
by the alternator. 

RadioShack sell those "power filter" for automobile audio equipments, maybe add those for sensitive electronics helps?
