re: MILANO VERDE PROBLEM_LOW REV ACCEL

If you're absolutely sure that you've reattached all the hoses that may have been blown off in the backfire you describe, then it sounds as though your airflow meter may have been damaged.

Subject: MILANO VERDE PROBLEM_LOW REV ACCEL

Im having a problem with my verde. When cold car does
not accelerate smoothly until revs get high. Engine
sputters and just does not seem to be firing
correctly. Also popping from exhaust when
decelerating. If this were and old carb engine , Id
say it was running rich. When warm seems to be OK.

Problem was preceded by a problem last week. Car
failed to start , with a pop from the engine and hose
from airflow meter off. Re connected hose and it
started ok, but the stumble on accelaeration started
as well.
Ive checked for vacuum leaks, cleaned plugs ( they
were OK), checked all wiing all seems to be OK. Any
Advice. Thanks
