Swaybar bushing continuing problems

Well.. After first getting the 33 mm OD swaybar bushes, when my link arms are 30 mm, I now have
30 mm OD bushes that fit nicely in the links.

What they don't do, is fit nicely on my swaybar!
What's going on, is that the end of the bar is (sorry for the sudden SAE conversion) .553-.554", and the
30 mm bushes are around .556-.558" ID. So they have a loose fit, no way for the tight press fit that (I assume) they
need to be. The original bushes, as well as the 33 mm bushes, are both about .552" and would be a nice tight
fit.

So, that's the way it is.. Now, could I use a Loctitie type product, or is 2-4 thou a distance too far?
Anyone run into this problem, and have a soloution?

BTW, the bar itself is about .940" in diameter, is that non standard? I'm vaugely remembering a reference stating
5/8"? And, more importantly, what should the end diameter be, that fits in the bush?

Thanks..

Jon
