Experienced this myself .  Sounds electrical.
Could be;
1.	Ignition switch going bad.  Can happen if you have large bunch of key 
(weight).  Try running with just ignition key.
2.	Double relay going bad - last resort but worth carrying a spare (expensive)
3.	Loose ground e.g. those at rear of head (passenger side).  Check all 
electrical connector around ignition circuits in engine - clean & DeOxit.
4.	Shorting across coil (center post to one of side posts/connectors) - odd 
but caught me a few times until I spotted it (Actually, heard the 
'clicking' sound around the coil)

try those then come back if not effective.
