3.0 engine to 3.2?

It is my understanding that the 3.2 V6 from the 156 GTA gains its volume over the 3.0 by an increase in stroke while maintaining its bore. Does this mean that it may be possible to "stroke" a 3.0 "S" engine by using the crankshaft and conrods from a 3.2, assuming that the parts physically match up? Or will the compression ratio be screwed completely up unless I also change pistons? Given the tendency for low RPM torque associated with a longer stroke, I would imagine that the engine would gain a little more umphh at low rpms, but a the same time, I suspect that the fuel delivery may not be up the greater displacement. Any general comments on "stroking" an engine while keeping cam timing and fuel system constant?
