According to the shop manual the low side pressure should be as follows:

System charged with 2.76 lbs of Freon 12 (I understand you have made the 
conversion)

minimum pressure - 11.6 psi
maximum pressure - 36.25 psi


As for your 150 psi reading, I am inclined to think that it was a bit 
inaccurate.  Make sure your gauge is working properly and try it again.
