coolant restrictor in '87 Spider

Hi Group:

I've been a Spica Alfa driver for around 25 years, and every once in a 
while, someone on the Digest asks about the coolant flow restrictor in the 
bypass hose.  Several times, I've seen the discussion move in a direction 
that says ". . .the later (Bosch) cars didn't have the restrictor, so don't 
worry about it".  So, imagine my surprise when I discovered the elusive 
restrictor in the bypass hose of my relatively-new-to-me '87 Spider.
