http://www.centerlinealfa.com/) carries new compressors for the 164.  I just 
got one at a reduced (from the catalog price) of $323 plus shipping, clutch 
is an extra $154 I believe.  The only other source that I know of is a 
rebuilt compressor from Jon Norman ( <A HREF="http://www.alfa-parts.com/";>Alfa Parts... Major Supplier of Parts 
for Alfa Romeo</A> , http://www.alfa-parts.com/  ) for $550.
