Resurface Rotors?

I bought some NOS Brembo OE replacement rotors on eBay for my Alfetta. One
of the rotors has some surface rust on the inside surface. I can remove most
of the rust with a Scotch-Brite pad but there seems to be some pitting that
is about the same depth as the crosshatching. Should I have the rotor
resurfaced?

I've read conflicting information on using aluminum oxide sandpaper on
rotors. Crocus cloth is not coarse enough.
