RE: 164LS Non Start Next Day

Every time I have had this..all to nothing effect.. it has "usually" been a
bad battery contact. Assuming you have not already done so, remove and clean
the battery connections and give them a thin coat of vaseline jelly before
reassembly, check the integrity of the earth/ground strap from the battery and
its contact point on the car body. It is also worth checking the other ground
connections e.g. engine to frame:hood to bodyshell, and also check that the
main fuse under the bonnet/hood is not corroded at its connections..unlikely,
but worth checking all the same.

It is worth doing all this as an elimination exercise even if it does not
prove to be the cure.
