now IH has some serious wacko entertainment value. i had a 1972 scout ii
for some years, loved it. it's a UV (no S), plain and simple.

that's not the thing to do. one of the main attractions of such a vehicle
is the fact that it can be repaired in a field with a screwdriver, a
hammer, and a blowtorch.
