Milano Shifter Oddness

Greetings esteemed digesters,

An easy one for today.

When I shift out of second to go to third, the shift lever does not want to
spring towards the center of the gate. I have to carefully place the shifter
at third otherwise It will just naturally want to go into first. That can be
quite suprising under accleration.

Can anyone explain what usually puts the 3spring2 into the lever and what
may be wrong with it now?
