V6 cam timing
Hi-
Does anyone have any experience with the TDC mark on the V6 crank pulley;
specifically its accuracy? Does anyone know if it is possible to have
the cams timed off a notch in either direction with respect to true TDC
without destroying the valve train? That being said, does anyone know if
there is any ADVANTAGE to altering the cam timing (if it can be done
without destroying the valve train). I know that the engine design is an
"interference" one, so valve to piston interference is possible.
Finally, does anyone have experience with using an offset crank key to
alter cam timing slightly (or return it to stock).
Thanks,
Al
